Albert Ayler - Prophecy Completed

Recorded live at New York's Cellar Cafe on June 14, 1964, Prophecy captures Albert Ayler's groundbreaking trio with Gary Peacock and Sunny Murray at a pivotal moment in the evolution of free jazz. Ferocious, spiritual, and deeply expressive, the performance introduced compositions like "Ghosts" and "Spirits" in some of their earliest recorded forms, documenting the raw intensity and emotional force that would define Ayler’s legacy.

Prophecy Completed expands upon the original album with an additional LP featuring the complete performance for the first time in this format, presenting a fuller picture of this historic session. Newly remastered by Dave Gardner, this deluxe edition continues Org Music’s ongoing archival partnership with the Albert Ayler Estate and restores one of the essential documents of avant-garde jazz history.
