Rainbow - Rarities

Continuing the celebration of 50 years since the formation of Rainbow and the release of their debut album ‘Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow’ and its follow-up ‘Rainbow Rising’, Edsel are pleased to present the final vinyl release from the recent appraisal of the band’s defining early years, 1975–1976. Released as a gatefold 2LP set pressed on 1 x red LP and 1 x yellow LP, this vinyl release sees a number of rare mixes, edits and studio rehearsal performances collected together on vinyl for the first time, with over half of the tracks never available on vinyl before, all newly mastered by Andy Pearce & Matt Wortham. Includes incredible alternative versions of ‘Starstruck’, ‘Man On The Silver Mountain’, ‘Stargazer’ and ‘Do You Close Your Eyes’.
